Becoming a student (aged 14-18 yrs) - We are looking to grow the number of student team members in ICRobotics so that more young people can get enjoyment out of this amazing program. If you have an interest in hardware, software, business (inc. media, marketing, admin) and would like to join us, please apply! Recruitment period is August - September every year. Becoming a mentor (aged 18+ yrs) - Our team is made up of enthusiastic and motivated students who are always keen to learn and extend their knowledge in technology (software, engineering) as well as business skills (project management, business development, marketing). If you have expertise in one of these areas and would like to mentor our students we would love to have you on board.
Becoming a support member - Do you have a skill that you think could be valuable to our team? Your support would be appreciated in any area including catering, fundraising etc.
Sponsoring us - This can take many forms. Many of our sponsors support us financially, but others support us in kind with parts, materials or venues.
Attending our events/ demos - During the season, we host and participate in demonstration nights and community events that are often open to the public. We would love you to come along and chat to the team, see our robots and learn more about what we do.
Coming for a visit at the workshop - If you would just like to come and see what we do, you are welcome to come for a visit at our next meeting.
ICRobotics robot demo for your school/ community group/ event - Do you think that what we're doing could spark an interest in the children/ teenagers/ adults at your school, group or event? Depending on your location, ICRobotics can come and demonstrate one of our robots for you. We can also deliver engaging presentations to any age group - for example, sharing our story, enthusiasm for STEM, Lego expertise and FIRST robotics experience. Our past presentations range from preschools and festivals, through to corporate events and conferences.

Joining another team - in FLL, FTC or FRC - We can help you get in contact with other teams around Victoria and Australia.
Starting your own team - Depending on your location, we can help set up your team by mentoring in person or via Skype.
Mentoring another team - With a growing number of teams around Australia, teams old and new are always looking for experts in technology (software, engineering) as well as business skills (project management, business development, marketing).
Sponsoring a team - FIRST teams rely heavily on the support of sponsors from small businesses to universities/schools to large corporations. Any support you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Judging at competitions - Competitions are held in cities around Australia annually and FIRST are in search of industry experts who are willing to judge teams in the competition areas including robot design,
Attending FIRST competitions - FIRST competitions are open to the public, so if you are interested in seeing what FIRST is all about then come along to one of the competitions.
